Delivery Information
Our ultimate aim is to provide customers with top quality furniture, at great value prices, delivery on time and in one piece! We will not be shouting about speedy next day delivery as we know from experience this only causes mishandling of product as warehouses and carriers try to rush an order through.
On the other hand, we do want to get your order to you as quickly as possible and aim to do this in most cases within 1-2 working days, the exception will be 1.bespoke ready assembled furniture which is handmade and can take up to 4 weeks& 2. Orders that are 2-persons delivery which are booked in with the customer and take up to 5 working days (area dependant). And the most important bit of information…delivery is FREE!
We deliver to most postal areas in the UK including Northern Ireland. However, geographical location and courier availability can restrict our service. We may not always be able to deliver certain products to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Man.
To maximise our opportunities on successfully delivering your order without delay, we require a minimum of a mobile no and email address for contacting purposes. All our deliveries are UK mainland only (we will confirm on the product page if we cover elsewhere) from Monday to Friday between 7am and 9pm. We use a variety of delivery firms to meet our customers’ needs, to name a few; DPD, XDP, UPS, Tuffnells, Panther. Below we have split our delivery processes into 3 sections; Standard 1-person delivery, Standard 2-persons delivery, Premium 2-persons delivery and Ready assembled furniture delivery.
Standard 1-person delivery process (in most cases):
- FREE Standard delivery on all orders (surcharges will apply to restricted postcodes of the UK, see product page for more details or below for restricted postcodes list)
- Before ordering anything please measure the floor space where the item will be housed. Please also measure your door space so the item can fit through (especially for assembled furniture).
- We will confirm your order by email within 24 hours and detail the estimated number of working days it will take to complete your delivery– this is usually within 1-2 working days (restricted postcodes will take slightly longer usually within 2-5 working days).
- Our courier / suppliermay contact you to advise of a delivery date. This will be done either by text, email or phone call – depending upon what information was provided with the order.
- All deliveries will be between the hours of 8.30am and 7pm unless otherwise stated on the product page.
- On the day ofdelivery, you may be given an estimated time window via text or email. Failing this, you will be provided with a tracking no from ourselves via email, so you can track the progress of your order.
- Not all drivers carry mobile phones so pre-calls before your order arrives is not part of this service and cannot be requested as a special arrangement. We can however provide details of the courier company and you can contact them for more information.
- ALL deliveries are carried out by a uniformed person and this service is to your front door only. The driver is not insured to take this into a room of choice.
Points to note:
- In most cases if ordered before 12pm we can deliver this the next working day. For example; if you ordered on a Friday by 12pm then your delivery would be completed on Monday. Please note, nothing in life is ever guaranteed, anything can happen from the supplier failing to produce your order on time to the courier breaking down on the day of delivery, these we call unforeseen circumstances and we will endeavour to keep you informed.
- High-value items will need to be signed for. We’ll send you an email explaining how to track your item, and letting you know when it will be delivered. Under extreme circumstances we will accept for goods to be left in a safe place, we will need confirmation in writing from you that you accept full responsibility if the order is lost or damaged.
- If no-one is at home, the courier will attempt to leave smaller parcels with a neighbour. The courier will post a card through your door with further delivery instructions if they're unable to complete delivery, or if they leave the parcel with a neighbour.
- In most cases a time window will be provided on the day of delivery either by text, email or both (depending on what was provided at the time of placing your order). We cannot ask the courier to deliver before or after a certain time of the day, if a special timed delivery is required please email us for more details, extra costs will be associated with this service.
- The courier will attempt to make delivery and obtain a signature twice. After this, if the item is small and light the courier will leave it with a local pick-up shop and notify you of the location. Failed / re-delivery charges will occur if the courier has notified you when your order will be arriving and upon attempting delivery nobody was home, this will be chargeable. To avoid these costs, we do ask all customers to make yourselves available on the day of delivery, if for any reason you must go out then please leave a note on your door to leave with a neighbour.
- If on the day of delivery, you request to cancel your order, we will deduct a £25 admin charge from your refund.
- For multiple orders: Your products may arrive separately or from different couriers, but don’t worry; you won’t be charged for additional deliveries.
- Any change of address after placing your order must be given to us in writing, please email customerservices@theallthingsfurnitureco.co.uk
- Please note that we reserve the right not to deliver an order if we believe the address isn’t secure, for example to a communal postal address or PO box. If this affects an order you place, we'll notify you as soon as possible.
Standard 2-persons delivery process (in most cases):
- FREE 2 persons delivery on all orders (surcharges will apply to restricted postcodes of the UK, see product page for more details or below for restricted postcodes list)
- Before ordering anything please measure the floor space where the item will be housed. Please also measure your door space so the item can fit through (especially for assembled furniture).
- We will confirm your order by email within 24 hours and detail the estimated number of working days it will take to complete your delivery – this is usually within 3-6 working days (restricted postcodes will take slightly longer usually within 6-8 working days).
- Our courier / supplier will contact you to advise of a delivery date. This will be done either by text, email or phone call – depending upon what information was provided with the order.
- Named day or timed deliveries are not possible at this moment in time
- The evening before delivery, you will be given an estimated time window via text, email or both – usually a 3-hour window.
- All deliveries will be between the hours of 7am and 9pm unless otherwise stated on the product page. Please note due to unforeseen circumstances or traffic, your order may run over the allotted time window. If this happens the driver will endeavour to contact you and advise how long he/she will be.
- In most cases, a pre-call notification on the day of delivery advising your order is on its way will be carried out, this can vary between 30-60 mins before arrival.
- All deliveries will be delivered to a ground floor area. The driver is not insured to take this into a room of choice. If you live in a flat and lift access is available, then please advise the driver before they arrive.
- Unpacking, installation and package removal will not form part of this agreement.
Points to note:

Please note, nothing in life is ever guaranteed, anything can happen from heavy traffic to the courier breaking down on the day of delivery, these we call unforeseen circumstances and we will endeavour to keep you informed every step of the way.
- All items delivered by 2 persons are considered heavy / high value items and will need to be signed for. Under extreme circumstances we will accept for goods to be left in a safe place, we will need confirmation in writing from you that you accept full responsibility if the order is lost or damaged and a signed signature needs to be left for the driver to collect.
- If no-one is at home then the courier will try to contact you in the first instance, if nobody answers they will wait a maximum of 5 mins. Failing this the courier will attempt to leave your order with a neighbour. If all thisfails, a photograph of your property will be taken as evidence to show that your delivery was attempted, and a re-delivery charge will be applied.
- Failed / re-delivery charges will occur if the courier has notified you when your order will be arriving and upon attempting delivery nobody was home, this will be chargeable. To avoid these costs, we do ask all customers to make yourselves available on the day of delivery, if for any reason you must go out then please leave a note on your door to leave with a neighbour or agreed safe place with a signed note.
- If on the day of delivery, you request to cancel your order, we will deduct a £50 admin charge from your refund.
- For multiple orders: Your products may arrive separately or from different couriers, but don’t worry; you won’t be charged for additional deliveries.

Premium 2-persons delivery process (in most cases):
- A small charge of£9.95 will apply to all deliveries(surcharges will apply to restricted postcodes of the UK, see product page for more details or below for restricted postcodes list)
- Before ordering anything please measure the floor space where the item will be housed. Please also measure your door space so the item can fit through (especially for assembled furniture).
- We will confirm your order by email within 24 hours and detail the estimated number of working days it will take to complete your delivery – this is usually within 5-7 working days (restricted postcodes will take slightly longer usually within 7-14 working days).
- Our courier / supplier will contact you to advise of a delivery date. This will be done either by text, email or phone call – depending upon what information was provided with the order.
- Named day or timed deliveries are not possible at this moment in time
- The evening before delivery, you will be given an estimated time window via text, email or both – usually a 3-hour window.
- All deliveries will be between the hours of 7am and 9pm unless otherwise stated on the product page. Please note due to unforeseen circumstances or traffic, your order may run over the allotted time window. If this happens the driver will endeavour to contact you and advise how long he/she will be.
- A pre-call notification on the day of delivery advising your order is on its way will be carried out, this can vary between 30-60 mins before arrival.
- All deliveries will be delivered to your preferred room of choice.The driver is insured to go as high as the second floor in a house, any higher than this and we are well within our rights to refuse delivery – please make sure you state in the special instructions if your order is to be delivered higher than the second floor. For all flat / apartment deliveries, as long as lift access is available then the delivery will be carried out as normal.
- Unpacking, installation and package removalcan be arranged for an extra charge, please email customerservices@theallthingsfurnitureco.co.uk for more details.

Ready assembled furniture:
All our ready assembled furniture from the REDI FURNITURE brand is bespoke to what you want and handmade, in the UK of course! So this does take a little more time than our flat pack items but our aim is to get this to you as quickly as possible in pristine condition – usually within 4 weeks.
Usual process:
- Most importantly we advise all customers to measure the floor space where the item will be housed. Please also measure your door space so the item(s) can fit through comfortably. All furniture is made to fit through standard sized doorways.
- Deliveries are carried out Monday to Sunday between 7am and 7.30pm
- First delivery attempt made within 4 weeks from receipt of order -approximately (in busier periods this could take an extra 2 weeks)
- Approximately 1 week before delivery a text or email will be sent to book in your delivery date, this will also confirm whether it is an AM or PM delivery
- Text and email message reminder 24 hours before delivery
- Customer contacted 1 hour before delivery (in most cases)
- Delivered to room of choice and packaging removed. If the driver fails / forgets to remove the packaging please remind them that this is part of the service. If you have any issues, contact us immediately on 01204 292655
- All handles and extra fittings assembled at time of delivery
- Covers for carpets if required
- Signed POD captured electronically
- Will leave calling card on unsuccessful attempts and helpline phone number
- 3 delivery attempts will be made prior to abort / cancel, we will make note of house description / landmark on each attempt.
Points to note:

- All ready assembled items are considered heavy / high value items and will need to be signed for. Under no circumstances will goods be left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
- If the driver is unable to deliver your order due to not fitting through doorways or tight gaps, then this will be classed as a failed delivery and a £60 admin charge will be levied before a re-delivery is attempted. Please note we do not want to charge any customer so we ask to let us know of any delivery restrictions that could prevent this from happening.
- If no-one is at home then the courier will try to contact you in the first instance, if nobody answers they will take a photograph of your property as evidence to show that your delivery was attempted, and a re-delivery charge will be applied.
- Failed / re-delivery charges will occur if the courier has notified you when your order will be arriving and upon attempting delivery nobody was home, this will be chargeable. To avoid these costs, we do ask all customers to make yourselves available on the day of delivery, if for any reason you must go out then please leave a note on your door to leave with a neighbour or agreed safe place with a signed note.
- Cancellations / returns after goods have been loaded onto a van will not be possible due to the bespoke nature of your order – please see returns policy for more details.
- For multiple orders: Your products will arrive at the same time.
